It was a short ride again to Isle Au Haute.
I like this retired stuff - no big rush to get back account a short vacation week.
We came via the thorofare and found an open mooring for rent. The village is small - one street only - but quite scenic. We had never walked to the lighthouse. The light keepers house had been made into an inn some years ago. We met the inn keeper and he showed us inside - We want to come and stay here sometime.
The views were wonderful as you can see.

Main (and only) Street and Post Office
The Store - and not a bad one either - better than on Swans Island |
There was some no small drama in the harbor just before dinner when a sailboat backed over the tow line for their dinghy. They drifted aground and a lobster boat was able to tow them off. A diver came later to untangle the prop.
