Today was an easy day. I only did a little cleaning of the fenders and scuff marks on the boat - much better.
We got a nice walk in around the condos of the site. Here is that svelte (certainly headed that way) Admiral in her new DRI-FIT outfit she got at the local (old and small but nice) Walmart. Why I mention the brand is she noted that there are the same clothes she paid many time more for at the sporting goods store back home. So come on down to Luka MS for some real bargains. They even had DR.THUNDER which the fellow in line in front of us described as "a poor man's Dr. Pepper - only $2.50 for a 12 pack!"
The showroom of the marina has some really neat old boats. Ah the days when a 35 hp Johnson was the top of the line.
As we were leaving the showroom I spotted this GMC out front - what is this?
Turns out that in TN you only need a back license plate. The lady who worked in the store has been to Maine and love the novelty plate. We had a pleasant conversation with her and a good laugh over the plate.
For dinner we tried the Farmhouse Restaurant. It was directly across from the Walmart, which is so it had to be good. It is actually in Iuka, which is next to Luka where the marina is - bet that gets a little confusing at times. We went with the crew from Serenity. The ladies bolted for the Dollar Tree store further down in the mini mall - more bargains!!!
It was a fine relaxing day in Luka and Iuka MS. Rain is forecast for tomorrow so we will stay another day.
So time to say .............................
Good Night and May God Bless
