Mix of clouds and sun. High in mid 70s. Light breeze

First, I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. I know we did even if it was twinged with missing being with family back in NH.
We started our day with a walk. It was cool enough that I needed my chamois shirt - but depending on the breeze or if the walk area was sun lit, I would have to take it off for a while. We walked about 2.6 miles today - a little let up in deference to Thanksgiving.
The scene along the waterfront and the beaches was of empty sidewalks and closed up establishments. It felt eerie to some degree. And it made us think of the wonderful get together we were missing today in NH with our sons and family - but "you can't have your cake and eat it too."
Here is the waterfront walkway - not fishing tours today.
The beach parking lot was really empty -
and besides it was also a cool day for the beach as well.
Even the famous Frenchy's restaurants were closed.
But McDonald's was there to fill the void
And back at the boat the Admiral began to work her magic on this amazing mini-Butterball Turkey breast. Strangely the turkey breast actually cost more than a whole turkey - but we couldn't fit a whole turkey in our small oven.
We even had pan made gravy
A wonderful feast - and the mashed potatoes where as good as ever - yum.
And the pecan pie, warmed in the oven, was delicious with freshly brewed coffee.
A very nice day. And we are thankful to be enjoying our Great Loop Adventure.
I tried to get over the air stations for football but to no avail. So we still have more week 11 NFL games to watch and so I will say ............................
Good Night and May God Bless
