The night was cool with a moderate south wind. The sun rose veiled but clouds but burned them off later in the day. The south breeze was very strong in the afternoon. Temperatures started low 50s and warmed to upper 70s.

Yesterday was a long day but today was a short 28 mile day. We wanted to be sure to get a spot on the town pier - which we did.
The hazy high clouds muted the sun to start the day. But soon the sun ruled the sky completely.
We had a short ride to Belhaven through the a cut waterway ...........
......... and then open water, which felt good again, .....................
.......... to Belhaven.
There are some improvements in town.
And a nice downtown.
We had lunch with the Red Hat Ladies.
And then back to our boat for the grocery cart for a mile and half walk for groceries. It felt good to get out and walk.
And the sun is down for another day so time to say.........
Good Night and May God Bless
