Our wonderful day on Saturday turned cloudy and cool on Sunday morning. We left Port Clyde at 0900 and traveled west among the islands to Hog Island.

This is passing Friendship - it is a very serious fishing town. There are very few pleasure boats on moorings and there are no waterfront marinas, tourist attractions, or restaurants on the waterfront.

Approaching Hog Island - the fog is hanging around and we expect to be blanketed in it shortly.

Hog Island is owned by the Audubon Society and they have buildings on the north end of the island. This is also were there are several guest moorings - there were two open so we snagged them!!

This is the view of the anchorage.

The island is about two miles long and has nice hiking trails. Here we have started our trek along the east coast- this view is looking south and east.

Lori, Jeff and Admiral Faye.

This is looking back to the anchorage.

We enjoyed our hike and were surprised that the fog actually thinned out and didn't cover us.

We again spend time over appetizers in the late afternoon.

The forecast is for partially sunny skies tomorrow - we will see.

So until tomorrow .......

Good Night and May God Bless
