The day started out with some fog but promised to clear. We were headed to Tenants Harbor to meet up with Honey Dew and see how big Scupper had gotten in the last several weeks - a lot it turned out>
We left our comfortable spot after most of the other boats had gone. No sense in fighting Mother Nature
We left via the Fox Island Thorofare - the passage between Vinalhaven and North Haven.
At the west entrance is Brown's Head Lighthouse and the Sugarloaves Rock formation - always is interesting to see - photos below
We crossed Penobscot Bay and entered the Muscle Ridge Channel that took out by Whitehead Light
It was then an easy ride of 3 miles into Tenants Harbor. A nice ride
