Day 7 August 3,2017 Thursday Somesville
An easy and relaxing day. We were both tired from our hikes. I will admit being out of shape from my multiple years struggle with the right ankle not working correctly.
We did laundry and had breakfast at the Colonel's in Northeast Harbor. It was good but I would have to say that breakfast on the boat is even better - but something to do while the laundry was washing.
It was quite overcast when we left for Somesville. It is only eight miles up and we rode at a sedated 5.5 knots - sailboat speed!.
The sun came out halfway through our ride and we found a great spot to anchor - Just about where we have been the last several times we have been here. Reading on the aft deck in the mild breeze was a perfect afternoon.
