Day 16 and 17 Boothbay and then to RMC and end of 2024 cruise

The poor weather forecast for Saturday did arrive, but not before we were able to get in our 4.5 mile walk to Spruce Point. And to greet us to start our walk was this traveler who seemed to have lost his way.

As you can tell the choice of going on our walk was one that included a consideration that we could get wet. But the day was warm and beastly humid and I was so wet by the time we returned that it felt like we walked through a down pour - but that was not the case.

Even in times of clouds the stunning glory of the coast is evident.

And the forest trail portion of our walk at Spruce Point was equally rewarding as it too looked wonderful in a difference light.

On Sunday morning we found a window to head back to Robinhood. The space between fronts afforded us the opportunity to walk around the cove.

And at the end of the day the fog is coming in to embrace like a cold blanket. But we are hunkered down in our slip and ready for a nice night of sleep - to dream about the wonderful cruise we had. So ......

Good Night and May God Bless
