Well here we are at the beginning of another season
The boat was launched on Tuesday May 9. The weather was really nice. The spring was cold but the warm spring has arrived just in time. Some trips to Maine have been really cold. But this time it was not.
Photos below of sunset from the dock of Great Bay Marina in Newington, NH.
The map below shows our trip on the following day. The statue miles is about 88 or 76 nautical miles
We left about 6:00 with the sun brightly shining.
We are passing the entrance buoy to Portland. More than halfway there!! Notice the calm seas!!
Small Point peninsula at the eastern end of Casco Bay. Feels like home now.
Looking to starboard and Fuller Rock and Seguin Island in the background.
Approach to Robinhood
Looking at the marina
Life is good.
On Thursday we went to Brunswick to play pickleball - can you see the Admiral?
The view from Robinhood never gets old
And the Chief is still here!
On Friday we walked around the cove.
An old farmhouse and barn.
Still a lot of boats to be launched. I am always glad we get the most out to the season.
Looking back at the area of our walk.
Well the electric heaters are keeping the still cool Maine air at bay and it is time to say....
Good Night and May God Bless
