America's Great Loop Cruising Association (AGLCA) Spring Rendezvous Road Trip -Day 6 - Thursday May 3, 2018 - Norfolk, VA



Last day of the AGLCA Rendezvous. A great primer for the trip - both for information that will be of great value, as well as a way to increase our excitement (and lessen the minor apprehensions) to get underway and head to NYC.

We met some great boaters and we plan to join up in NYC to travel the Hudson. Looking forward to seeing a number of folks along the way at different times. I believe that the number of Loopers making the trip this year is around 280 boats - not a lot when you look at some marinas - but still a good number of folks that will definitely make the trip all the more enjoyable.

And the photo below shows the large gathering that includes Loopers at the meeting that are either In Progress, Planners (us for two weeks) and Completed. Fun to hear everyone's story from hoping to doing to done.

 The weather the last few days has been intoxicating.  Our last view of the Norfolk waterfront before heading to NH early in the morning. Need to get home to finish projects prior to launch next Thursday.
