Well today was oil changing day. Always a treat. But it is done, but not with out a mess. Today was the day that I have waited twenty years for.
The oil filter is in a metal canister that is horizontal. You drain oil and remove the canister and change the cartridge filter inside. The end of the canister has a groove for an o ring that seals the canister when you bolt it back on. The o ring is vertical and I have waited for the time it fell out and didn't seal. Today was it. Just glad I had plenty of oil rags - GRRRRRR.
And since today was work day there was not much to photograph. But here is several photos of the marina.
For my "I Spy" fans can you spot Perelandra?
And here is a panorama shot to show how big this marina is. And it is a long walk down each dock.
And it is always good to have perspective. The two shots below are from a trip we made in January of this year. We were on the way to Florida and stopped at this same marina to look at a boat.
And once more for my "I Spy" fans, what is very different in the two sets of photos. And it is not the sun.
And here is the Admiral all bundled up looking at the .......... ice. You did get it didn't you. It was cold - even in MS. There even had been snow in Nashville and they were in a panic.
So, while it was cooler today, the temperature was way better than it will be in a few months even here.
So it is time to say ..........
Good Night and May God Bless
