The night time cooled nicely for sleeping. The sun dawned bright. Temperatures from 57 to the mid 70s and light breeze.

The day started beautifully as you can see from the several shots below.
We were away at 0730 for our 48 mile jaunt to Daytona Beach.
The landscape was actually quite nice for most of the way. Knights Kingdom is leading the way through the nearby draw bridge.
If you check out the map you will see that we have to go thorough a canal that was cut into the isthmus, that is directly ahead in the photo below, that connects the mainland and the northern end of Cape Canaveral island
We then ran north up the inside of the outer barrier island.
Most of the area was undeveloped for many miles. There was a lot of fisherman out and some camping on the higher islands.
We passed through New Smyrna Beach.
Here are a couple of shots approaching Daytona Beach
Halifax Harbor - the Municipal Marina for Daytona Beach. It has a large (491 I think) number of boats.
The Lady Dolphin of Daytona, a real paddlewheeler, was out and about with a good number of passengers today. It is stationed in the marina.
And Daytona is just south of where Granddaughter Sydney and Mom Jenn live. Here the Admiral is all decked out for our visit with them. We saw them today and will again tomorrow.
Jenn picked us up and we went to her wonderful new home. We had very nice dinner that Jenn prepared. And here is Sydney and Nana playing "Heads Up!" They laughed and had a great time. Sorry that I don't have more photos, but my phone battery was gone. So I will get many more photos tomorrow.
We stayed until after dark and now back at the boat it is certainly time to say ..........
Good Night and May God Bless
