Day 1 August Cruise RMC to BBH Wednesday August 12, 2020

The night was warm and the air was calm and left the windows open. The sun was out in the morning and was out all day. Temperatures high eighties - a wonderful day to be on the water - it was roasting back home in NH.

Well we have had a wonderful stretch of weather. As you may recall from post earlier in the summer I was doubtful that we would have a nice summer - but it did arrive and stay for a while.

Since the end our last cruise we did get some time with the Wolfeboro contingent. They start school soon so our time together will be more limited through the fall - oh well just for a season.

Rob and Lauren and Bree came to the boat this last weekend. They stayed for three days that was great fun.

 First it was catch up time - Bree is showing Nana her new Kindle

And a little I Spy - the four Eye version

 We started our fun with a trip to Moody's Diner - what can be finer!!

And the annual - how tall are you now - photo with the Robinhood Indian - note the face mask on the Indian - thanks much!

And off to Boothbay with Lauren driving - what a great job!!

And Bree did amazing as well

And Dad needed a turn at the helm as well

Wow are they getting big!

The book store is always a great stop

And new tee shirts and hat!!

And then we were thrilled to have Maddy come for a visit - and a shopping trip with Nana.

A successful day I'd say!

And now it is time for our August cruise. After some boat maintenance it was time to head to Boothbay

And sunset is such a beautiful time of day - particularly on such a fine summer day.

So as you can see the sun has moved on until tomorrow. So time to say...................
