Another pleasant day in paradise - well at least a good warm place to be. And I am still feeling the effects of my cold - which still even makes be laugh. But cold or not we got out for a nice walk this morning. The temps were cool but we both went with just short sleeves and shorts. We went north along the beach today and walked far enough to get to North Clearwater - and the scene changed from condos and hotels to residential in a block - must be zoned that way. We walked just under 4 miles so that was not bad. We have been doing better some days.
We did treat ourselves to lunch at Frenchy's on the beach. The sun was not shining on the terrace where we ate so it was a touch cool with the breeze coming off the water. Yet in the sun it was rather pleasant. And there were a number of folks out on the beach.
And to prove we were there -
A walk back to the boat got us there about 1:00. I was tired from the walk and my cold so a nap was in order - for medicinal purposes of course. Late afternoon found us having dinner and watching football. It is rather fun to watch games played in the south and not be jealous about how warm it is there compared to where we normally are at this time of year.
And speaking of this time of year, Faye/Nana is having some "Pre=Pie." For those wondering what that is, it is partaking of pie prior to the Thanksgiving meal. And we did buy a pecan pie for tomorrow so this qualifies!!
And speaking of back home, here is the forecast for tomorrow. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
And here is Ryan and Melissa's house where our other son Robert and his family will gather with them tomorrow. We are very sad not to be there. But still so happy they will be together and we look forward to a video chat during the day. And I am shivering just looking at that photo.
As the sun has set here is Clearwater it is time to say.............
Good Night and May God Bless ...... and ...... Happy Thanksgiving to all
