Day 3 DEYC 2019 Cruise Camden to Belfast Monday July 15, 2019

For the second day in a row the night was mild and bright sun reappeared following last night's beautiful sunset. The wind was breezy from the NW that came from the land so the seas were small. Temperatures in the high 70s

Today's blog starts with a photo that shows last night's wonderful moon over Camden Harbor.  It was a glorious site that I trust is captured in at least some manner with this photo.

The morning was rather lazy as we only had 15 miles to go to Belfast and check in to the marina was not until 1:00 PM. So I had plenty of time to fly the drone. This shots are just a 360 view from above our mooring. A wonderful scene indeed.

We departed Camden around 11:00.  The trip continues north along the west side of Penobscot Bay.

Approaching Belfast.

The inner harbor.

After we got docked we got out the folding bikes to take a trip to find pickleball courts that are at the Belfast public park. We plan to play in the morning. It was a nice ride of about twenty minutes. We also wanted to see how new seats I bought for the bikes would cushion these old folks. They were much better!!! The park has a nice spot right on the water.

On the way back took this shot of the harbor from the in town park. Very nice.

The Admiral and the steeds in the background.

These helmets make us look like we should be in a Star Wars movie - wow that would be cool!!

We are the one towards the left with the blue top.

The event for the night was a lobster bake at Young's Lobster Pound. It is a working lobster pound and we all had a great time. And you can't beat lobster, clams, mussels, and corn on the cob eaten in the wonderful summer outdoors - and finished with blueberry cake.

And there was time to fly the drone again for some nice shots.

Now that the sun has moved on to light the west coast it is time to say ...............

Good Night and May God Bless
