We are getting close to heading out for our summer cruise but we needed to be back home July 17th. Still, we have been on the boat as much as possible. One because we love just being on the boat, and two because summer has arrived and it is hot at home!!!!
And it is simply at beautiful place to be!
As I am always looking for something different to do, I did find another place to hike in our marina backyard. And just a short drive down Robinhood Cove.
It is the Josephine Newman Audubon area. The parking lot is at the dot and the preserve is the highlighted green area.
The trails follow the estuary that you can see on the map. There is a damn at the mouth of it. I have dinghied to it in the past and wondered what it looks like beyond the obstruction. Now I know!! And you will too when you view the photos below.
Well that was a great five mile hike - what a find!!!
Since I am tired from all my exercise and as you can see from the first photos above, it is time to call it a night and say .........
Good Night and May God Bless
