Today is another day of total relaxation. We slept in. We lounged over coffee. We felt the warm breeze come in the windows. We wandered over to Walgreens for some incidentals.  We later went for a walk along the beautiful beach and the beach main street.  We went back to the boat and watched the last of last week's football games. We had a wonderful dinner on the boat, We decided to walk to the beach again to see the sunset. We got an ice cream. We walked in short sleeves and shorts in the evening.  We said that today was what we wanted to experience in this southern portion of the Loop.

So today was not exciting but I was totally excited to be here and experience such a wonderful day. So here is some photos of a non-exciting day that was totally exciting.

As I mentioned above we slept in - and when I looked out there was pelican sleeping on the piling of our slip. It has been so much fun to see these strange looking birds. If the first time you saw one it was standing or sitting, you would never imagine how graceful and effortlessly they fly over the water and at times skim over the tops of the water and waves. It was a great part of our unexciting day.

Clearwater Beach is a beautiful beach

And it was fun to see the "bury us in the sand" happening on the beach

And cabanas that line the beach

The waterfront is nicely done.

It is a beautifully maintained waterfront

There is a pier, as most beaches have, that allows you to walk out to enjoy the water.

And here is our stroll on the beach Main Street

And there are t-shirts shops - I was so surprised

And our boat neighbors on Caeruleus said they found a great breakfast place - RYAN's. As it is the name of our eldest we had to find it as well. We will certainly have breakfast once or twice this week.

And we are returning to our boat for an afternoon of football watching and then a delicious dinner of stuffed pork chops

And then it was time for a walk down to the beach to watch the sunset. The incoming clouds gave us a muted but delightful end to the day. And we got two walks in today. The constant traveling has been a real impediment to us getting our needed walks.

And so ends our unexciting day that I was thrilled to enjoy.

And I would be remiss on this Veterans Day if I did not remember and give thanks to veterans that have made it possible for all of us to have this country that is like no other - where we could enjoy such a wonderful day.  May we always be mindful and thankful for their service. And may we be especially thankful for the many who have been injured or have given the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

So with all the thoughts of the day still fresh in my mind, I truly say .................

Good Night and May God Bless
