July 20, 2023 Thursday
The weather seems to be improving. The forecast shows more than one nice day in a row. The temperatures are mild. So let's give it a try.
Thursday was wonderfully sunny right from the start as you can see below. A real rarity this summer. We first fueled up and then headed to Boothbay Harbor. It is easy to start out downeast from there which we planned to do on Friday.
On the Sheepscot River it is wonderful to see the blue skies
It's a high tide as we round Indian Point headed to the swing bridge at Townsend Gut.
Ah Boothbay in the sun.
Ice Cream is needed after dinner.
You can see Perelandra between the sign posts.
We took a dinghy ride around the harbor. The foot bridge tender's house from the waterside.
Nice to see a clear sky at night
The scene from our mooring - complete with a real lighted palm tree.
A good start - here's hoping the weather holds.
So time to say Good Night and May God Bless
