Day 92 Chicago Sunday August 19, 2018

Day 92 Chicago Sunday August 19, 2018

The cloud cover of yesterday was gone - blue sky. The wind had lightened to 10 knots over night and stayed about that all day.  The temperatures rose to the high 70s in afternoon sun. Glorious day.

It was air show day. We left the mooring early to get a good spot and we did at center-point of the flight line.

Day was glorious and we expected that the Thunderbirds would fly the high show (instead of the low show like yesterday) and we were correct.

It was a little bouncy out there but the wait was oh so worth it.

The F 35 Incredible - you have to seen it yourself as the pixs are but a taste of the thrill of seeing and hearing it.

The Thundernirds - what a show.  Same comment as for the F-35 but trust you get a good sense of how great is was to be here on our own boat - in Chicago witnessing this - priceless!!!

The bright sun of the day has set so.......

Good Night and May God Bless
