Today was a beautiful day, in sharp contrast to yesterday.
Before we left Holbrook Harbor we decided to go for a walk. We walked down southwesterly from the harbor. Never have done that before.
Our walk was about 3 miles round trip. The first part of the walk was a short but pleasant path through the woods and along the shore.
From here we walked along a local road. It had a lonesome bus stop.
Now that is what I call a "picture window."
A picture at our mooring.
And here is that "picture window" from the waterside.
Today we traveled back to Warren Island. As we only plan to make one trip to this area this year we had to spot at one of our favorite places twice. Today we traveled around the south end of Isleboro.
We walked on the Warren Island again today. This time we walked through the middle part of the island. It is always interesting to view the location and remains of a foundation for an amazing home that was built on the island.
There is also an interesting headstone for a Mrs. Zilica, wife of Thomas - died at age 22. I couldn't make out the rest of the inscription but we speculated that she might have died in child birth.
Our tree
There are far more campsites that are occupied during this visit.
And our friends on Honey Dew were also here tonight. Paula brought over some fresh baked blueberry cake. It nicely sustained that us and the conversation until the wonderful sunset.
Good Night and May God Bless
