Day 2 Boothbay Harbor

Day 2 Boothbay Harbor

Comfortable night - breeze is up early. Few photos of Oven's Mouth in the morning.

Had planned to go to Harbor and Hall Island but decided that we didn't need to fight the chop so we stopped in BBH. Good move as we were able to go to grocery store for a few items and  hardware store for pressure valve for steering reservoir. Glad they had one.

Always a great time in BBH

The Bennie Alice takes folks to Cabbage Island nearby for a free lobster bake (The boat ride does cost a fair penny) If you look you can see the hungry gatherers lining up on the dock.

The church that overlooks the harbor - Has wonderful bells that play often.

And a final note for the day, the Captain has won the first round of cribbage. I am afraid though that this maybe the last time I am able to write such a pronouncement as the Admiral is very good at this game. But I promise to continue to report future scores. Who knows, ESPN may even pick up the story.
