Day 3 July 30, 2017 Sunday Warren Island

Had a very nice ride from Boothbay to Warren Island. Day was bright and sunny, but the north wind was cool. The seas were light but just enough to make it choppy. The chop was enough to send salt spray all over my clean boat. Oh well guess that is what hoses were made for.

As you can see the first photos is of a lone tree - What? you ask?
Well this tree is on an island just off Port Clyde.  I first saw it about 30 years ago and it looks so stark and defiant that it was at once "my favorite tree" I always hope that it made it through another year!!

Yes this is not Photo shopped - That is Faye holding Scupper

Scupper is a GoldenDoodle that Bob and Paula from Honey Dew just got. He is eight weeks old and is a very good dog. He is a typical puppy an wants to be into everything and chew everything. But he is very calm and as you can see very cute.

After our first visit with Scupper Faye and I went for a great walk on the island. It is owned by the State and is a camping park only accessible by water. The spot was a great location to get the Mavic up for some more great aerials from the coast of Maine.
