Oven's Mouth Sheepscot River
Enjoyed a beautiful ride from marina to the Oven's Mouth, a wonderful hideaway off the Sheepscot River. Entrance, in photo below, is hidden until you just start in to it.
Day was glorious and we were able to access and hike trails of the Oven's Mouth Preserve. But we got somewhat muddy for our efforts as the landing spots are not the best.
I noted that the water of the outgoing tide was rather warm. It reminded me of swimming years ago with son Rob on a trip in our sailboat. Great start of cruise.
