The promise of nice day at sunset last night proved to be correct. There was some low hanging clouds in the morning as it turns out was likely caused by the cooling towers of the nearby nuclear plant. Temperatures were low 60s to upper 70s

The day was a wonderfully pleasant day for travel. The low clouds seem to be from the nearby nuclear plant. We headed out around 8:00 and traveled about 50 miles and passed through the Watts Bar Lock.
We were the first boat of the day and drove right on in. Even had the lock master come out and engage in a fun conversation.
The river was more attractive today than yesterday.
This jet con trail seemed to slice the sky in two.
In the distance you can see the Mountain range to the north of Chattanooga - the south end is Signal Mountain that is opposite Lookout Mountain.
For my "I Spy" friends what do you see that we haven't seen in a long time?
Yup - we haven't seen a sailboat out and actually sailing since the great lakes.
We traveled the 50 miles rather quickly as the rain of the last several days provided a nice current of up to 2 mph - thus we were at our anchorage early afternoon. We enjoyed watching the last of week 3 NFL games. A light breeze gave us a great comfortable afternoon.
And I had a chance to get the drone up for a look around
The sunset was very nice.
And so it is time to say ....................................
Good Night and May God Bless
