Castine to Rockland Thursday July 31

Another beautiful day. The sun was clear and the wind was very light.

We decided to go to Rockland.

The breeze did fill enough for Chickadee III to move nicely with full sail. It was nice to get some sailing shots for Glen and Andrea. Great background, eh?

And fortunately the 78th Rockland Lobster Festival was getting underway.

And we saw the USS Arlington anchor in the outer harbor. We decide we will take a tour Friday before departing in the morning.

Rockland has a nice Main Street. The anchor to it is the Farnsworth Art Museum/ The entrance is at the awnings on the left. It was a great visit.

There is also an interesting art and jewelry store in a former bank building.

We are headed back to the boat.

 A fun day again

So with the sun departing the scene ..............

So Good Night and May God Bless
