Day 297 Fort Myers Beach 2nd day Tuesday March 12, 2019

The night was again mild. The sun was again magnificently bright right from the start and stayed that way all day. Low 80s by mid-day. Another fine day, again!!

Part of our scouting out of our new home for a week was to check out places to play pickleball. Yesterday we found there is a wonderful indoor recreation center that is part of a large spots complex. Yup open play from 10:30 to 1:00.

So we were off in plenty of time for the first game of the day. The Admiral was itching to play as she had strained her calf muscle while at Longboat Key and had to rest out the last several play dates. The sports complex is wonderful with several ball fields - one for senior softball - I would like to also play that again someday.

And of course Bocce Ball - bring our own chair.

And for the main event - eight courts that rotated nicely with four at a time. We had a great time as there was a fairly good level of play. And I must say that playing inside was much different as the floor made the ball bounce quicker and light colored courts took getting use to to when trying to see the ball. But after a while we were both up to speed. We had a great time. "Faye, do you want to play again tomorrow?" "Absolutely!!"

After pickleball it was a ride on the trolley bus to Publix for groceries and then back to the boat for a wonderful dinner of salsa chicken with new potatoes and cauliflower - I am stuffed!!

And I bet my "I Spy" friends thought that I forgot to give the answer to last night's quiz.Well I just wanted to make you think about it for a day.

And the answer is Six pirates - five skeletons and one non- skeleton. The trick is that the skeleton at the bow (front of the boat) is some sort of animal with a long snout.

Did you get it. I hope so.
I liked that one. Hope you did too.

Let me know if you got it.

Time for my coffee - not sure if the Admiral will want to try to make it five in a row of Mexican Train - will let you know tomorrow.

So time to say .............

Good Night and May God Bless
