Well today was another wonderful weather day. Blue sky all day - marvelous.
It began with a lovely pre-dawn sky and ....

.... a wonderful sunrise.

Early this morning an interesting boat - a schooner barge - motored on by our stern. The boat is named The Lily and was used in New England as you can see in the link Lily History

After a lounging morning on the boat we headed to town. There is a very nice boardwalk along the water.

Downtown is simple but fun. Reminded me of Main Street in Northeast Harbor, Maine

Stuart is known as the sailfish capital of America as symbolized by this wonderful bronze sculpture.

Today is my actual birthday - what better way to celebrate than with an ice cream lunch!!!!

I did have a great call and texts from all the kids big and small.
I even got a great joke from Lauren and Bree

"Where does a sick boat go?

To the DOCK!!!"

And add peals of great laughter on the other end of the line!

And I have to share a birthday present from Jim of Knights Kingdom - he is a clever guy!!
I received this text this morning - his mind must never stop!

I have to say that is a great summary of the first half of my life - now for the second half!!

But first as the light of day has now faded to reveal the lights of the harbor it is time to say ........

Good Job Mr. McNight and May God Bless
