Day 312 Merritt Island 2nd Day Wednesday March 27, 2019
The
night time was again mild and cooled nicely for sleeping. The wind was calm at night but it was the calm before the storm - wind and rain and hail - oh my. Temperatures in the mid
70s

As we had planned it was an excellent day to hunker down and stay put.
The rain and wind began to pick up about 9:00 and in short order it was howling. The forecast was for steady 20 to 30 knots with gust to gale force (35 to 47 knots) and it was spot on. The still photo below gives you some idea of the weather but does not provide the full depth of the wind, rain and hail - yes hail. And throw in some good near by lighting and thunder claps and you can begin to see what the day was like.
Rocky and his parents came over for some Mexican Train. A great way to pass the time on a rainy day.
They are some cute.
The clouds let up and as you can see Rocky is wondering when he can go outside.
There have been dolphins playing in the waterway around the boat. Here are a few shots of them.
As you can see Rocky is all tuckered out. Time to take him home for some well earned sleep.
Since Rocky has headed home to bed, it is time to say .................
the Admirals won 2 of 3 games today - but tomorrow will be different. We plan to stay here two days as the wind is forecast to continue through tomorrow.
So I need my sleep to be sharp tomorrow so it is time to say .....................
Good Night and May God Bless
