The night was again mild. The sun was again magnificently bright right from the start and stayed that way all day. Low 80s by mid-day. Another fine day, again, again, again!!

Like I said above the day started beautifully. Here is a photo of the sunrise to highlight how nice.
Well I will give you three guesses as to where we were at 10:30. If you didn't think it was a trick question you are sure to have gotten it right - yes pickleball again - we both really have a great time playing.
And after we got done at 1:00 we decided we should enjoy a linner (like brunch but the later day version) on the beach. We went back to the same place we ate at the other day and scored a front row seat on the patio. The food was excellent with Faye having a great salad with homemade dressing and I had a homemade chicken salad wrap - yum on both counts. The weather remained flawless with temperatures almost too high and a breeze to make it feel just right.
After linner we decided to go to Bowditch Park for a short walk to stretch the tired legs from the morning's bouncing around the courts. We caught the trolley in downtown near the shot below.
The park is located on the north end of the island of Fort Myers Beach. It was fun to see a few interesting art features.
This is looking back at the harbor.
And this is looks north at the entrance channel we came in earlier in the week.
There were a few nice sections of trails in the mangroves.
The beach around the north end looking east and ...........
now looking west with Sanibel Island in the background.
A panorama of the same spot.
And the residents were kind enough to share the beach with us.
The sand was beautifully fine and white - just marvelous.
And now one for my Blues Clues friends. I know I have neglected you too.
How does this boat move? I watched it from a distance several times and didn't get it until today.
Clue 1 - There is no sound of a motor
Clue 2 - There are people sitting on benches facing each other.
Clue 3 - There is a fair amount of hollering and cajoling going on. (and I bet imbibing)
Well did you get it - No? Did you enlarge the photo to read the sign on the side of the boat?
So Steve what is the answer? "Well getting out my Blues Clues book and conferring with Blue, we have determined that everyone is pedaling and making the paddle-wheel push the boat. " Wow that is too funny.
And once back at the boat and having relaxed watching some TV, it was time to see if Captain Ron could extend his win streak to 3 games of Mexican Train. Well, remember how close the last two games were? This one was sounding decidedly in the favor of the higher ranking officer aboard ship.
And with the "thrill of victory and the agony of defeat" (how many know where that phrase came from?) still hanging fresh in the evening air, it is time to say ............
Good Night and May God Bless
