Today was a move day of about 38 miles. We departed at 7:30 with mostly cloudy skies.
A draw bridge was our first order of the day and opened on demand.

Soon the sun was battling for control of the sky.

It gained the upper hand rather quickly.

Here we are at the junction of the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway the runs north and south with the Okeechobee Waterway.

Here was have just turned90 degrees and are really headed for home.

We passed Fort Pierce.

There were areas of natural embankments is a lot of the areas.

Our approach to Vero Beach

And we are entering the mooring basin.

We rafted to Charlie - a power-boater, would lives on his boat full time. You are required to accept rafting if you are on a mooring.

Jim from Knights Kingdom looks like he has been defending his Kingdom. In reality he fell and hit his nose and head. Being a kind soul, I donned my "sympathy badges - complete with lipstick scars. Don't want Jim to feel like he is a lone klutz.

And the Admiral scouting out her territory.

Friends Ron and Nancy, who winter here, joined us for dinner at the River Walk restaurant. Dummy here didn't think to take a picture of the four of us.

So we are now on the boat and the dark is swallowing the day so it is time to say......

Good Night and May God less.
