Day 139 Franklin to Chattanooga Friday October 5, 2018

Day 139 Franklin to Chattanooga Friday October 5, 2018

A beautiful day start to finish.  Temperatures were mid 60s to low 90s. Same as yesterday. Locals are calling it Hot-tober as it is unseasonably warm - I am not complaining.

The day was beautiful. We had a pleasant ride back from Franklin to Chattanooga. We went directly to Enterprise to drop off the car. Our friendly agent Sally was there and we enjoyed telling her about our trip on the ride back to the boat.

We arrived back to the boat to find all was well.

We had a little lunch on board while we watched last week's Pats game - some glad they were we able to get it together to beat Miami quite handily.

We walked around the waterfront once again. It is a wonderful place -  so well down.

We had heard that there was Bluegrass Festival this weekend and much to our pleasure found out that there were shows tonight - and it was free. People had started to place folding chairs to hold their spot. We went back to the boat for ours. As it was near dinner time we went back to the Bluewater Grille - which we had been to at least three times already.

The evening was absolutely marvelous for a show. We sat in our chairs in our short sleeve shirts and shorts until the show was over at 11:00. The line up was

6:00 The New Dismembered Tennesseans
6:50 Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper
8:10 Della Mae
9:30 The Infamous Stringdusters

Pictures of the first three acts are below - my camera died for the Infamous Stringdusters.

And an hour later the entire common area was packed - very nice

It was a great day and a fine way to end our stay in Chattanooga.

So I say .......

Good Night and May God Bless
