The clouds of last night were still hanging around in the morning and brought the west wind

We and Knights Kingdom headed to Fairhope - across the Mobile Bay.
The clouds of last night didn't leave as fast as we expected but the wind did shift to the west.
We took a photo of all five of us (Rocky too) before we left.

Here we are departing the Dog River. It is nice and calm because the wind is now behind us. It changed as we traveled straight across to the far shore.

We had to cross the shipping channel - and the AIS told us that the Ocean Overseas would arrive at where we would cross at the same time - so we decided to slow down and let them pass - as they had the right of way for a whole lot of reasons - we watched them pass.

We did make it across. At the marina the slips were cross ways to the wind - it was not easy - and a little bit thrilling to back it into the slip. But we made it with no damage or foul.

Our friends, Mike and Paula, live here and we are so happy to be see them. Here Faye and Paula are showing us Faye's handy work of a gift to Paula. It is wonderful to see them.

Fairhope is a wonderful city and with a great waterfront - here is the city wharf.

We will be enjoying a land based few days in Fairhope. And we get to sleep in a non moving bed at Mike and Paula's wonderful home so it's time to say ...........

Good Night and May God Bless
