Day 17 August 2019 Boothbay Harbor Thursday August 29, 2019

The night was mild and calm. High clouds started the day and thinned out to clear skies in the afternoon.   The wind was a moderate sea breeze in the afternoon.  Temperatures in the upper 60s

Our last full day of this year's final cruise. It is always good to end the cruise in Boothbay Harbor.

We did our walk out to Spruce Point. We always wave to Paul Bunyan dressed like a fisherman who still is welcoming folks to Browns Wharf Inn.

We always enjoy the very nice diversion through the woods that leads to the back of the Spruce Point Inn.

The walk back along the shore road is most pleasant.

And yesterday in the blog you saw the bridge tenders building from the water and here it is from the bridge.

In the afternoon we had nice time playing Hearts with Richard and Betsy - Faye was the winner, but we all had fun.

And finally the setting sun affirms that we have come to the close of this year's cruise. And it will be soon time to take the boat south to New Hampshire for the winter - our next time on the boat most likely.

Maine Mover looks right at home in the beautiful evening light.

And the sun has decided it must move on, but I am sure that it will come back tomorrow for our ride back to Robinhood.

A wonderful day to end a wonderful cruise. Tomorrow back to Robinhood. I'll make a final post tomorrow.

So I guess it is time to say .................

Good Night and May God Bless
