Day 18 August 2019 Boothbay Harbor to Robinhood Marina Friday August 30, 2019

The night was cool - fall is in the air - and calm. Clear skies remained through the night and all through the day. The wind was a moderate sea breeze in the afternoon.  Temperatures in the upper 60s. Wonderful day.

It was a fine day to return to Robinhood Marina. Here we are approaching the Southport swing bridge. You can see the glorious blue sky.

And you can see the high tide. The light that is perched on the end of the ledge that comes from the little island to the left seems to be floating.

Contrast that to this photo take last month. You see why you need to pay attention to the markers, eh?

And the glorious day shines on the Sheepscot River Bay

And here is looking more to port at Powderhorn Island.

And our trusty floating home back in its slip at Robinhood after getting a badly needed washing.

And a wonderful view from our slip of the fading light over the mooring field.

Soon the shadows have crept over our spot in the world.

And soon the light has dimmed to a majestic farewell.

A perfect ending and thus I will wish you all ........

Good Night and May God Bless
