Day 9 August 2019 Cruise Somesville 3rd Day Wednesday August 21, 2019
The
night was again cool but clear air. The sun was out to start the day but showers and threats of thunderstorms ruled the afternoon. The wind was light all day.
Temperatures in the upper 60s
Wednesday was forecast for storms later in the day so we made a quick trip to Bar Harbor for some gift shopping and to mail a letter.
Here is looking out to the anchorage of Bar Harbor.
We also are looking forward to meeting with Jim and Justine, friends from our Great Loop experience. They are coming in to revisit a place they stayed on their honeymoon. It will be great to see them. We took a stroll by where they will be staying.
Love the front porch
And the Admiral is warming up the rocker
And it is a great Patriots shirt in Maine moose country.
And a wonderful old post office in Bar Harbor
And the night found us getting out the Mexican train game. I will admit that the Admiral won the game - but for you players of the game, look at the train to the upper left that she started - all I will say is that's some creative way to get rid of your tiles.
And as you can see the lights are on in the cabin - so it must be time to say ..................
Good Night and May God Bless
