Day 336 Belhaven 2nd Day Friday April 19, 2019

Day 336  Belhaven 2nd Day Friday April 19, 2019

The night was cool with a moderate south wind.  The clouds from the coming storm arrived to cover the sunrise.  Temperatures started low 60s and warmed to upper 70s.

Today we stayed in Belhaven as we planned to wait out the storm coming from the SE. It has been windy and from sunny to showers all day. The wind is supposed to increase this evening but we should be fine.

For the morning there were no showers. This gave me a great opportunity to do some maintenance including changing the oil in the engines and the generator.

Fortunately, and as I had hoped, the wind is not blowing directly into our dock.

Here is looking out at the direction of the wind.

And looking behind us at the town.

And you can see some of the waves that have made it into our dockage. An even a Canadian Goose is bouncing in the chop.

And here is a little later in the day when the wind gusted up and made some larger waves.

So as the day is winding down time to say ............

Good Night and May God Bless
