Day 344 Wye River 2nd day Saturday April 27, 2019
The
night was cool and the winds of yesterday did remain at night and picked up again today. The
sun was seen this morning but winds clocked to the west to bring cooler dry air.
Temperatures started
low 50s
and warmed to cool mid 60s.

Today was a layover day. The storm of yesterday was gone but the clearing west wind was piping up real strong with the gale warning still in effect. It was nothing that I wanted to fight if we had a wonderful place to stay and relax.
We had a leisurely morning and Dick and Phyllis and Faye where ready for another game of Mexican Train late morning. Afterwards we drove to Annapolis and drove around the Naval Academy. It is a wonderful place.
We began our look by stopping at the magnificent Chapel. They were preparing for three weddings this afternoon.
And here we are outside next to a substantive anchor at the entrance to the the chapel.
And the crypt of John Paul Jones is located in under the pulpit of the chapel. It was really amazing
We also found the grave site of John McCain. It was very moving to see.
And we saw the headstone for Arliegh Burke. There is a modern day class of destroyer name after him that is built in Bath, Maine, minutes from our summer home port,
And ride through downtown.
And the state capitol building.
And closer to home we rousted a large number deer in a backyard.
And finally we played another round of MT. It is now dark and time to say ..............
Good Night and May God Bless
