Day 21 Sylvan Beach to Fulton Sunday June 10, 2018

Day 21 Sylvan Beach to Fulton Sunday June 10, 2018

It was again cool last night - 50 degrees- just right  for sleeping.  Clouds in afternoon then they cleared again.  The day warmed up quickly so we were able to start and stay in short sleeves and shorts. Today's high 77 degrees What a stretch of weather!!!

A nice day again. Notice high clouds, well for the last several days I have checked the weather radar and there is a lot of rain just to the south of us. And there it has stayed - I am some happy boy.

This is the channel out into Lake Oneida. As pretty lake - and well developed.

Here we are moving along. We have been putting along while in the canal system. Fuel gauge liked that.

This shot is of the helm. I wanted to show this and have you zoom in on the chartplotter to the right and the small  blue instrument looking through the wheel. The blue device is the autopilot and it is holding course that the route in the plotter transmits to the autopilot - it is 6.9 feet off the perfect heading line -  I can't steer like that if I tried - what a great machine.

This lock has another drop down gate.

And for today's 'I Spy" What is the scene below in the next three photos?

It is the spin off junction from the Erie to the OswegoCanals

Lock I of the Owsego and " I Spy" something different from all others. It is yellow and what is it.

Why it is a highway bridge

We arrived at Fulton that in hopes to find parts for the ice maker.
But in the mean time we eat well - scallops with bacon Yum!!!

 On the wall.

In a place I can see the sunset.

So time to say

Good Night and May God Bless
