Day 27 Picton to Trenton ON Canada Friday June 16, 2018

It was nice last night - upper 50s - just right for sleeping. Clouds snuck in at dawn and were with us until just before the Marina at Trenton. Warmed up in afternoon for short sleeves and shorts.

As you can see below the day started out with some clouds. The forty mile ride to Trenton was nice and we went slow. Some shots of along the way. Sure reminded me of rivers in Maine and some large lakes

Hit 700 Miles - but unlike the 500 mile mark, I don't know of any songs for 700 miles - but it is still a long ways. I do have one for 1000 miles but you will just have to wait.

One thing that made me say 'What is that thing coming" is all the bass boats that are literally flying on the inland lake like waterway. As you can see all but the motor and a patch of boat are in the water. To watch them skit along the top of the water at some speed that seems like a100 mph, was most interesting - remember today was Saturday and a weekend warrior day.

And for all the fishing boats (yes some were stopped and fishing - but darn few!!) and all the folks fishing I have seen, I have yet to see anyone catch a fish.

The Trent Port Marina is new in 2015 - it is the most impressive marina I have ever seen - some that have traveled a lot say it is the best they have seen.
