We planned to stay here the day to obtain the parts to repair the ice maker. Well I will not hold you in suspense any longer - the Admiral is a happy Lady!!. The new solenoid arrived and was installed and the sound of flowing water - just the right amount - was music to our ears. Sorry to prattle on about the ice machine - but since we only drink water on the boat, having ice in it makes it so much more refreshing,

But we had to wait for our part so we went for bagels this morning. As we passed this shop yesterday a fellow was locking up. Turns out he is Sean, the owner. We chatted for a while and exchanged introductions and we said we would be back in the morning. Bagels all made fresh here each day - what's not to like.

Well that is Sean. And when I said "Hi Sean" he answered "Hi Ron - and its Faye right?" Well that was a nice start to our morning.
And the bagels were real good. Sorry I had to have a bite first.
The King Arthur building was really handsome - a little long in the tooth, but its design still is attractive,
Walking along the river, we ran into this building - And for today's "I Spy" you have to figure out what you are looking at.

Yup, it is the first public operating room station that I have ever seen. You can operate on your friends and family or clean fish - your choice. A word of caution is, since the fees to use it as an operating table are rather steep and you pay by the hour- you want to be ready to start slicing and dicing.

Funny enough we have seen countless people fishing all the way from NYC - but I have never seen one fish caught. But we have seen and heard them jumping a large number of times. Maybe I need to show them how to fish!

And below. the Admiral is admiring her fleet tied to the dock. (The dinghy is on the back so it is technically a "fleet"
The remainder of the day I have been scouring the weather predictions on numerous sites and apps.
While it seems we might have a weather window in the morning to cross. the threat of thunderstorm throughout the day is making us lean heavily to the stay put option - that will mean we stay until Friday.

Oh Well we can maybe tour Fort Ontario

So to let us head to bed to await the revised forecast in the early AM, I wlll say

Good Night and May God Bless
