Day 38 Bobcaygeon 2nd day Wednesday June 27, 2018
The sunny evening of yesterday gave way to clouds over night. The temperature was mild in the 60s. Today was cloudy all day with periods of showers mostly in the afternoon.

As the weather was not the greatest we decided to stay put today and relax and do some chores.
The highlight of the morning was the passing of the mini- cruise ship the Kawartha Voyageur.
They stopped on the lock wall just above us and rolled out their charge of would be shoppers. However I doubt that many purchases were made in the Bobcaygeaon Beach store as the mostly seniors citizens were not likely in the market for the latest in swim wear.
I will admit it looked like a fun way to see the Trent Severn Waterway.
It also reminded me that the area is the home of the largest houseboat rental companies. There is one docked just in front of us. They come in various sizes that sleeps up to 12. These one has two families onboard.
Late morning was decided was the time to walk to the laundromat. Time passed quietly as I brought my Kindle to read. As it was near noon, we indulged in lunch at a diner in the village. While waiting for our lunch we had fun reading and playing truth or false with the cards provided at each table. After a while the card below showed up that made us both laugh. Before you read it I need to provide the necessary background.
When we moved to NH a number of years ago, Faye worked in the office of a group of psychiatrists and psychologists. One she got to know well and we even spent several times together with him and his girlfriend. He was from Greece and somewhat self-assured - (but he couldn't made a decision if his life depended on it). He bought a Mazda Miata and told us it had real Naugahyde Leather seats. We never did convince him that Naugahyde was not real leather - so on to the card. I will let you read the top True or Myth for yourselves. Trust you can see the reason for our substantive amusement.
We managed to get back to the boat just before a rain shower came that would have dampened our freshly laundered clothes and sheets.
Reading and relaxing continued through the afternoon. It has been a good day of R&R. Tomorrow we will move to Fenlon Falls - an adventurous distance of 16 miles.
So to allow plenty of time to prepare for the arduous journey tomorrow I will say ........
Good Night and May God Bless
