Day 45 Orillia to Sparrow Lake - Deep Bay, Wednesday July 4, 2018

Clear sky at night.  Another hot day - high in the low 90s  A small breeze came up as the temperature rose. A nice, but very hot day.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY🎆🎇✨🎉🍉🍨🍦🍧

It is funny texting with family back home on the Fourth - Wished them a great day all around. But the fireworks in this area were on Sunday night. So it's just another fine day on the Loop.

We met a lot of nice folks at the Orillia Marina. This morning we chatted for longer that I had planned and so we didn't leave until about 10:45. It was a combination of lakes and canals. We only had about 8 miles to travel and one long lock and an active CN Railroad swing bridge to contend with. But the railroad bridge opened so we hardly slowed.

The several lakes were small but there was a fair number of camps along the shore.

Some looked like they were nicely planted and growing on small islands.

At the end of Sparrow Lake we turned into Deep Bay. It is a very nice spot. The photos below are from the anchorage. Remember that above I noted that it was hot today? Well the water was 82 degrees (I have a pool thermometer) and I even went swimming!!! Now you know it was hot.

And how's that for a Fourth of July meal, eh? Anyone want a burger - C'mon by.
So I need to finish dinner. So...

Good Night and May God Bless
