The clouds where beginning to breakup in the morning. There was no rain but the clouds hung on most of the day. We saw sun in the afternoon. Temperatures in the low 70s

Hello all - posting this from Little Current as cell has been - Zero - the last several days.

The ride from Covered Portage was easy. The seas were calm and the day still cloudy. The ride was only about 14 miles. As the crow flies we only moved about 4 miles.

Baie Fine is a fiord I am told. It seems like a split in the rock formation. It was a joy to behold.
The sun began to break out as we traveled up the gorge and made the trip all the more amazing.

But before jumping to to those photos, here is one that we took several days ago while traveling the Collins Inlet. For today's "I Spy" there is something unusual in this photo. Can you tell what is? If not see further below for the answer.

The two shots below are of the approach to Baie Fine - Reminded us of rounding Cape Rosier back in Castine, Maine.

The photos below are from inside Baie Fine in order of movement up (easterly) the fiord.

The is a head of the fiord where we anchored as seen below. There is a river like access from here that goes further easterly to the "Pool." We didn't go there as I wanted to see the sunset and we had heard it was very full of weeds - I didn't want to play in the weeds again and pick them up in the water intakes. We planned to ride up tomorrow in the dinghy to scout it out.

An island in the middle of Baie Fine
Doug and Mona from Shannon (see yesterday's post) where anchored just up the inlet to the "Pool." Doug and Skipper came by for a wonderful visit. Great to talk with them. Trust we will still be boating in our eighties as well.
The clear sky of the afternoon gave way to some clouds. I had hoped they would stay east until after sunset - but it was not to be. Thus, the sunset was muted but still wonderful to see.

Before the evening clouds rolled in I was able to fly the Mavic and here are some wonderful shots.

Looking back down Baie Fine.

Looking up Baie Fine - the Pool is up near the center of the photo - will see it tomorrow

And here is a better shot of today's "I Spy" object. Why it is the modern lodge home of Sammy Beaver. He and the family are getting ready for the upcoming NFL season and have the dish antenna lined up just right. They have found that watching sports helps with the long winter. I did find out that, as with Coach Belichick, they do not have a "SnapFace" account so we can't "friend" them.

So as it is getting late, it is time to say.......

Good Night and May God Bless
