Hello all - posting this from Little Current as cell has been - Zero - the last several days.

The day was bright from the start. We had gotten spotty cell signal connections that occasionally gave us a text message. One was from Eagle One that said they would be coming to the Pool. We were able to get them back and told of the hike here. They came to join us. I was beautiful. One of the few hikes in the area. Nice climb and nicer views.

Here is the anchorage in the morning

 And the trail head
We are about two thirds of the way up. Me and Faye and Kris and Rick on right.

And then from the summit. We can see forever. Glorious.

Faye, Kris and her friend Kay

The bay over the ridge is McGregor Bay. We plan to go there tomorrow.

Faye, Kris and Kay - great trio of ladies

 Me, Faye, Kris, and Rick

Look close and you can see the number of boat headed up the fiord.

After our wonderful hike we headed up the fiord to the Pool. Eagle One against the white rocks is stunning.

And here are photos of the Pool

This is inlet that seems like a river.

 Turning right into the Pool
Each one is further to the right

This is turned 180 degrees and looking at the entrance. The cottage of Ralph_Evinrude

 is seen ahead

Here is photo in the past with Evinrude's yacht Chanticleer tied up to island. Nice company, eh?

The second hike of the day was to Topaz Lake. It is about a 40 minute hike. The water is very blue-green account high sulfur content - there is no living thing in it - but sure is beautiful. Kris, Kay and Rick had a swim.

 The hike back

A wonderful and full day. Dinner aboard Eagle One was fun as we recapped a day that will likely be a highlight of the trip.

So we are all tired and must get to bed to recover, so .......

Good Night and May God Bless
